Its just this great feeling to help someone find and build their brand as they are just getting their business going.

Even better, I love designing for my friends. This project gave me the best of both <3 Pine Cakes is an amazing cake decorator working in Shepherdstown Wv, she is also my best friend. Its amazing helping my friend build her business, she is just getting her own thing started, but I love that I have the resources to help her do so.

So, a little talk about the actual work. Since she is essentially a fun, young, tattooed cake decorator – I wanted to give her something that expressed her personality, because she is her business. She also produces some really beautiful, amazing, contemporary and traditional cakes – she is super versatile – but mostly contemporary. So I wanted to give her a bold, clean logo. Something that would stand out amongst the many “cute” and “frilly” branding methods a lot of other bakeries and decorators utilize.

The same thought process has gone into her online portfolio. Keeping is simple for now, but its a great way to show her work and what she is capable of doing.

Check her out![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
